Movie Night

Come to the final installment of the Winter Film Festival featuring the movie Some Like it Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon. Along with the feature film, a newsreel and a cartoon short will be shown.

The show is free and will be at 6:30 on Friday February 3rd in the Mission Viejo City Council Chamber.

Novelist is a great tool for fiction readers. This multidimensional database, which can be easily accessed from the Catalogs and Databases page on our website, provides both summaries and reviews of over 125,000 books. Type in the name of an author or book you love and click on the “Find Similar Books” button to locate other books you might enjoy. Search for the title of your favorite series to see what order the books go in. Or browse the database’s many reading lists to find books that appeal to you. If you need any help using this database, our reference librarians are always ready to assist you.

FREE Live Homework Help Online. The Mission Viejo Library now provides access to trained tutors through our website. The live Homework Help service offers students in 4th through 12th grade one-on-one online homework assistance in math, science, social studies, and English. It is available seven days a week from 1:00p.m.-10:00p.m.

Travel the World in 2006

The Mission Viejo Library has expanded the hours for its Passport Services. If you plan to get away and need to get a passport, renew your expired one, or take a passport photo then drop in Wed from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (photos from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.), Thursdays from 4 p.m.-8 p.m., or make an appointment for Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. While you are at the library, you can also check out travel videos and guidebooks to help you plan your trip.
