Make Your Own READ Poster!

It’s National Library Week – a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers in schools, campuses and communities nation wide and the perfect time for our community to “Come Together @ Your Library”
The Library is celebrating National Library Week by inviting you to create your very own read poster. Visit the Library on Sunday, April 15, 2007 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and have your picture taken with your favorite book. Please make sure to bring a copy of your favorite book or check with library staff to see if we have one on the shelf.
All 11”x 17” posters will be displayed throughout the Mission Viejo Library during National Read Week. For more information or to schedule and appointment, email read@cityofmissionviejo.org.

Spend an Afternoon in Paris with Parisian Mystery Writer Cara Black

Award winning author, Cara Black, is known for her Aimee Leduc investigation series set in Paris. Cara will speak at the Mission Viejo Library as part of the ongoing "Writers Present" Series. The Aimee Leduc mysteries are suspenseful with a Paris setting. The seventh book in the series, Murder on Ile Sanit-Louis will be released in March.
