Astronomy at the Mission Viejo Library is part of the 2009 International Year of Astronomy, hosted by Scopes-4-Schools, Inc., and the Mission Viejo Library, this free event will be fun and educational for the entire family.
Astronomy at the Mission Viejo Library begins at noon on Friday, April 3, 2009, with live webcast interviews with astronomers from leading observatories around the world. The event continues until 9:00 pm that evening. On Saturday, April 4, 2009,. the program begins at noon with viewing of the sun through solar telescopes. The program concludes at 11:00 pm with a star gazing party.
