The DVD for Mission: Impossible II has been checked out from the library 517 times.
The novel that has checked out the most is Swimming to Catalina by Stuart Woods with 180 circulations.
And the most circulated children's book is The Berenstain Bears' Comic Valentine with 219 checkouts.

This months list of DVDs has several replacements for damaged ones. Titles like Cast Away, The Return of the King and Hoosiers are replacements. Also, there are several anime titles added including the Fullmetal Alchemist, Pretear and World of Narue series. And of course, the BBC shows are always popular. "Green for Yellow"

A coupon for a free DVD rental from the Mission Viejo Library will be given away (one per family) for each used telephone book dropped off at the Mission Viejo Library on Wednesday. April 22, 2009, Earth Day. The Friends of the Mission Viejo Library are raising money to purchase new children's materials through the April Waste Management Recycle Drive and your old telephone book counts. Waste Management of Orange County will donate $5 for every ton of recycle material collected during the month of April. Drop-off times are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm., in the library. Support the Mission Viejo Library and be green.

Thie "Green for Yellow" phone book drive kicks off the City of Mission Viejo's Third Annual Artes de la Vida and Earth Day Celebration to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2009. The annual planting activity takes place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and Artes de la Vida and Earth Day Celebration continues from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park.
